Established in 1990, Learning for Life - Western Los Angeles is part of a national program designed by educators from around the United States and delivered in regional service areas. The Western Los Angeles area encompasses 65% of L. A. County and is bordered from LAX to Edwards Air Force Base, and from the Ventura County line to the city of Burbank. The Western Los Angeles service area includes 17 school districts, the largest being LAUSD Kids involved in our programs have grown in the following ways Enhanced self-confidence Our programs help kids gain a new focus toward Character development Together we can succeed! Were here to help you keep our kids away from the drugs and gangs that are infiltrating our schools and communities. Our success comes from making academic learning fun and relevant to real-life situations. All of our programs are age-appropriate and the lessons are specific to each grade level. We help kids develop the skills necessary to cope with the complexities of todays society, by creating positive character traits and abilities.
